Letters have been sent home on SeeSaw regarding the teacher strike action on Wednesday 1st February.

The school has received notification from the NEU trade union that its members propose to take industrial strike action on Wednesday 1^st February 2023. This action relates to a national dispute and not because of any issues at our school.

We have undertaken a risk assessment for the school and to ensure the safety and well-being of our children, the Governing Body and I feel it is necessary for a partial closure of the school for pupils on Wednesday 1^st February 2023.

 

• Class closed - Alwen (pupils return to school on Thursday 2nd February 2023)

 

• Classes open as normal - Seren, Enfys, Haul, Tegid, Brenig, Llandegla, Post 16 Aled, Tryfan, Findeg, Siabod and Famau

 

Please note, there are further days planned for strike action on Tuesday 14^th February and Tuesday 14th & Wednesday 15^th March.
